Storms of 2007
October 18th was a day of fast moving supercells thorugh out the nation. As David Diehl and My self chased in Indiana. We intercepted two supercells that came out of Lafayette, IN. We Observed some nice rotating wall clouds and some nice striations on both supercells. Just before it became dark we observed a large funnel possible tornado but cannot confirm so will leave it at that. I have some video that I will look at later and maybe post if it is worth it. We had to play catch up to this storm and as we approached the south side of Warsaw, IN. We observed a large cone funnel under lit by the city lights. Soon after we had to break off from the supercell which later developed ahead of the line and caused tornadoes near Lansing. On my way home I intercepted a tornado warned supercell in St. Joseph county. As I was driving north I could see some nicely stacked plates and a wall cloud. As I approached School Craft I witnessed a beautiful shelf cloud.

Early August, 2007 Northern IN. Chased alone but was able to witness a LP supercell with a lowering near the IN/OH border. I then headed back to the north and west and intercepted a HP supercell that morphed to a semi classic supercell. I was able to witness a rotating wall cloud captured in the video below. It was a fun chase.

Andrew and I broke off from the others and moved down into IL and caught a few sever warned storms. Later we caught a supercell that had come through Davenport,IA.

Will post video link soon. This was a great bachelor party. Several of my grooms men all but one a chaser, attempted to chase a cold core set up in NW Kansas. We managed to get stuck in the mud. After we got unstuck we headed back to KC, and noticed some cells forming south of KC moving NE toward I-70. We managed to intercept a cell riding along the warm from and it briefly produced a tornado. Lasting about 2 minutes. This tornado was also being chased by a NWS employee who made the report and confirmed that it was indeed a tornado. This was an excellent day. We headed back home to MI in the snow. I thought i had more pictures but the video shows more.
