Great work as always, Kurt. You’re good, very good. Wish I’d gotten out of the car early enough to grab some of those bolts you captured as the storm moved east of town. You got some beautiful shots.

My mom, my two older children and myself along with several other people were helping to clean up after the “strawberry festival” when we heard there was a storm on its way. We made it to the firestation before the tornado hit. I could believe what I saw when I walked out of the firestation. Our historic town was destroyed, but no one was even hurt and that is what is important.
I don’t know how you do what you do, but you do a good job of it. Thank you for sharing your video with us.

I was due east of it. As it started to drop to the SE I was offered a nice look at the vault region. Hard to see in the pictures but was very evident in life. Could easily see the barber poll action. I was still about 3 miles east of Allegan and one mile south of 222. It looks like I was at the intersection of 114 and 24th. so maybe 1.5 miles north of 89.

Kurt, once again you’ve done it! Fantastic shots, amigo. You evidently found a great location. I know you were north of me for quite a while, but it looks like the shots that captured the meso were taken southeast of it. Where were you at the time?
