We finally got a system to cooperate for us here in MI. Bob Hartig and I headed to the lake shore around 9:30pm last night. We decided to park at Camp Geneva, several miles north of Holland, where we had access to the beach. A nice line of storms were ongoing over the lake and already coming on shore north of us near Grand Haven. I was impressed with the amount of lightning that was illuminating from them. The bolts were pretty sporadic, however, flashes were pretty constant.
Here are the highlights of the night. We did not get back into town till 12am.
