Kansas/Missouri Feb 24 (tornado)
February 24, 2007 Johnson CO. Missouri near the town of Holden. The guys (Daryl Winger, David Diehl, Bob Hartig) and I witnessed a brief tornado North of Holden MO. I thought the had day had gone to crap after getting stuck in the mud. But I think it was best we were stuck in the mud in Romana KS. Thank you to the firefighters who pulled us out. It looked like a tractor pull from my view point. We tried to catch up to the Marion Co. Storm but we decided to head east and see what we could get. After every thing turned to junk we stopped in KC for a brief regrouping and decided to head east back toward home as we saw a small cell south of KC and if it held together we might intercept what was left. As we approached Blue Springs, MO. The last radar scan looked very weak. So I personally was getting bummed and thought that the effort was useless. About 5 minutes later a tornado warning was issued for the cell just south of us. So we darted south and intercepted a nice lowering and finally tornado, In Johnson Co. MO.

Central MI, July 18:
July 18th. Bob Hartig and I headed to central MI to intercept 3 training supercells coming out of the NW. Each time we intercepted we were able to witness brief supercell structure. They were coming into stable air and transitioning into outflow dominate storms.

Northern Indiana Early August:
Early August, 2007 Northern IN. Chased alone but was able to witness a LP supercell with a lowering near the IN/OH border. I then headed back to the north and west and intercepted a HP supercell that morphed to a semi classic supercell. I was able to witness a rotating wall cloud captured in the video below. It was a fun chase.

Michigan,Indiana October 18:
October 18th was a day of fast moving supercells thorugh out the nation. As David Diehl and My self chased in Indiana. We intercepted two supercells that came out of Lafayette, IN. We Observed some nice rotating wall clouds and some nice striations on both supercells. Just before it became dark we observed a large funnel possible tornado but cannot confirm so will leave it at that. I have some video that I will look at later and maybe post if it is worth it. We had to play catch up to this storm and as we approached the south side of Warsaw, IN. We observed a large cone funnel under lit by the city lights.
Soon after we had to break off from the supercell which later developed ahead of the line and caused tornadoes near Lansing. On my way home I intercepted a tornado warned supercell in St. Joseph county. As I was driving north I could see some nicely stacked plates and a wall cloud. As I approached School Craft I witnessed a beautiful shelf cloud. My picture was also placed in the IWX survey page. IWX NWS Napannee tornado
